about

During the summer of 2017, founder of Artymis Collective Cornelia Kavanagh Silsbee, a junior Studio Composition major at SUNY Purchase, joined forces with co-founders Caroline Wallis, junior photographer at Barnard College, and Marina Espinet (Cherry) to attempt to achieve the unimaginable — an EP of original music entire conceived, written, arranged, performed, recorded, and produced by femmes. Calling in musicians, Brooklyn-born Berklee alum Emily Weekes, and Oberlin student and multi-instrumentalist from Julia/Julian Cena Loffredo, as well as spoken-word artist Mikaela Johnson Harris, the six came together to create a 3-song self titled EP. The EP went on to be mixed by Vinegar Mother's Julia Zivic, and mastered by SUNY Fredonia alum Imoni Cole-Palmer.

All proceeds from this album will be donated to Planned Parenthood!
